Safeguarding
Creating a safe and welcome church.
Each church in the Benefice is fully committed to safeguarding all who attend church, but especially children and vulnerable adults. The Benefice Safeguarding Polices are reviewed annually and are on display in in each church. All church leaders and those involved with children and young people are regularly trained in safeguarding matters and are subject to DBS checks. Please see copy of our Safeguarding Policy below.
The Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer (DSO) who advises our PSOs.
